Wow, I haven't done much blogging since October. But the warmer weather brings the ability to get outside and paint.
Kind of hard to do that in Michigan in the winter. At least with spray paint.
I see that the amount of bloggers has quadtrippled (is that a word? Well it is today).
I have a post that I did back in September about a end table make over. See it here. Nothing major. Really one of those I am bored makeovers.
Here is the before pictures. Which is really the before before.

This is the after of the the one above. Eh, simple boring really. I wanted something with color and life.
My husband is a gem and brings me home the oops paints. These were some pretty little Martha Stewart samples.
The Harlequin pattern is not perfect and that was intentional. I basically measured out the diamond and then painted by hand. No tape. Then I lightly sanded it away to just have a small touch of gray coming through. I put a light coat of Miniwas polyeurothane in satin on it. I love how it turned out.
I did a vase and a candle holder in the same colors that way my buyer can accessorize with them.
This is not turqiouse either it's like a seafoam green. I show that below having it up a against my turq vase.
I didn't not put the paint on thick and wanted to give it that washed look.
I actually painted it white first and the paint wouldn't stick. I had to scrape it all off and sand the crap out of it. I realized it's because it has a veneer on it. Well it's on there now but it gray.
Guess I need to get that paint off the floor. Eh, I want carpet anyway.
Just to show that these are more of a seafoam green. My turq vase is in the background.
So there you have it!
Thanks for visiting!
Good to see you all agian.
Deb.
